Jer Repair provides residential home repair and maintenance services. All services are subject to a written estimate provided before work commences. By accepting an estimate, you authorize Jer Repair to carry out the described work at the agreed price. Scope changes during a job will be communicated and approved before additional work is undertaken.
Estimates provided by Jer Repair are based on the information available at the time of assessment. If conditions discovered during work reveal additional scope not identified during the initial assessment, we will notify you before proceeding. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, e-transfer, and other payment methods as discussed with the client. Overdue balances may be subject to late charges and collection proceedings as permitted by BC law.
We stand behind our work. If a defect in workmanship is identified within 30 days of service completion, we will return to assess and address it at no additional charge, subject to reasonable notice. This does not cover normal wear, client-caused damage, or issues unrelated to our work.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jer Repair's liability for any claim arising from our services or website use is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or claims that cannot be limited under Canadian law.
